Ursinus College is a small, private school located about 25 miles from Philadelphia in the appropriately named town of Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Students can choose from more than 60 majors to study, including applied economics, politics and wellness education. Freshmen at UC must enroll in the Common Intellectual Experience seminars, which bring students together in small groups to discuss their beliefs and philosophies. Outside the classroom, UC students can get involved in more than 100 organizations, Greek life and community service through the Ursinus Center for Advocacy, Responsibility and Engagement.
