Our lives have been turned upside down yet we are hopeful to get back in that drivers seat and be with our students. We long for the “How was your day?”, “Can I open a window?”, “Wanna buy a raffle ticket?”, “I have a game tonight, can you come watch me play?” The smiles, the sweaty faces of the 6th period PE students racing to be one of the first students on the bus, the art work for moms, the “I got an A on my project.”, the high fives. Life is not the same and may never get back to “normal”, yet we are hopeful. We miss our students immensely and look forward to being able to see them again.
