Three FHS Video Production Films Selected For Prestigious Film Festival Competition
For the first time in Fillmore High School Video Production history, three of our films have been selected for the prestigious Youth Diversity Film Festival competition. Fillmore High School and The Fillmore High Alumni Association present Flash Forward, a look at the accomplishments of students who have graduated from Fillmore High. Meet Matt Hammond, Class of 2016 Fillmore High graduate, The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, and United States Army.

Fillmore Flashes Lady Lightning- Jamz Holiday Showcase
Fillmore Flashes Lady Lightning competed at Jamz Holiday Showcase in Anaheim and won 1st place out of 6 teams. They are the first competition cheer team to compete for Fillmore High School since 2014.
College of the Week: Cornell College
Cornell College is a small, private liberal arts school in Mount Vernon, Iowa, that utilizes a block schedule. This special academic calendar, named One Course At A Time (OCAAT), consists of eight blocks of 18 days each. In a given block, students at Cornell College attend just one class from 9-11 a.m., break for lunch and then resume from 1-3 p.m., so they focus intensely on just one area of study for a shorter amount of time.
The student-faculty ratio at Cornell College is 13:1, and the school has 67.1% of its classes with fewer than 20 students. The most popular majors at Cornell College include: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Exercise Science and Kinesiology; Engineering, General; Computer Science; Political Science and Government, General; History, General; Psychology, General; Elementary Education and Teaching; Art/Art Studies, General; and Finance, General. Unified Sports at Fillmore High School
Unified Sports at Fillmore High School - Fillmore Flashes Unified Club hosts sports events each semester! Our inclusive club brings students together to work as a team and form friendships. Students from all over campus come together each day to practice soccer skills and develop relationships. You can support Unified Sports by joining our club!
