Heat Advisory Update

FUSD Families,

Due to the extended heat advisory, we will continue to limit and/or restrict outdoor activities at all school sites.

  • Students will be provided water as needed at all sites.

  • Afternoon lunch recesses will provide options for students to stay indoors or in shaded areas.

  • P.E. classes will be held indoors.

Fillmore High School coaches will continue to closely follow the heat index and make any necessary modifications to practices and games based on the FUSD Athletics Heat Advisory Protocols.

Welcome Christina Sandoval, our new Wellness Counselor!

Thank you FHS for the warm welcome. Hello everyone, my name is Christina Sandoval and I am your new Wellness Counselor. I am an alumni from FHS and I am proud to back home to the community that built me! I have been in education for almost 10 years. Attended COC graduated with Associates in Early Child Education, Graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelors in Social Science and La Verne University with my Masters in Educational Counseling with a PPS. My passion is to help guide all students towards success and providing each student the skills to thrive! If you are needing a helping hand I am here for you! I am located in room 2 with Mrs. Luna in the Wellness Center! I am excited for this year and look forward to meeting you soon!
